2000 Game Description: During a match, each alliance scores points by placing the 13" textured rubber playground balls in their goal and by positioning their robots in designated areas at the end of the match. Each alliance competes using two team-built robots, four robot operators, two human players, and four coaches. There are two 6' goal structures midfield. To access the other side of the field, the robots must pass under a 30" high clearance bar or over an 8' carpeted ramp in the center of the field. The ramp section has a 5-food high clearance bar that robots may hang from to acquire points.
